Zoan is one of the three Devil Fruit types. This type of fruit allows the user to transform into another species and inter-species hybrid forms at will. In One Piece, there are a lot of Zoan devil fruit users. Today, we will count down the 10 strongest Zoan DF users in the series. Be sure that there will be some spoilers for the fans who don't follow the manga.
10. Boa Sandersonia
Boa Sandersonia is one of the three Gorgon Sisters that rule over Amazon Lily. She ate the Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Anaconda, a Zoan-class Devil Fruit that allows her to transform into either an anaconda or a large naga-like creature.
9. Kaku
Kaku was a member of CP9, operating undercover in order to obtain the Pluton blueprints from Iceburg. Kaku ate the Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Giraffe, a Zoan-class Devil Fruit which allows him to transform into a giraffe-human hybrid and a full giraffe.
8. Jabra
Jabra is a former member of CP9 and one of the last to be introduced. Jabra ate the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Wolf, a Zoan-class Devil Fruit which gives him the power to change into a full wolf and a human-wolf hybrid that resembles a werewolf.
This greatly increases his physical strength, allowing him to deal more damage with his Rokushiki techniques, which is further complimented by the sharp nails granted by his transformation. Being a carnivorous Zoan user, Jabra is more battle-adept than a regular Zoan. His carnivorous side was shown when he was licking his lips before attacking Usopp.
7. X Drake
X Drake also known as the "Red Flag", is a former Marine rear admiral who later turned pirate and the captain of the Drake Pirates. He possesses what is referred to as a "rare, Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit", giving Drake the ability to transform into a theropoda dinosaur.
6. Rob Lucci
Rob Lucci is a current member of CP-0, having originally been the strongest member of CP9. Rob Lucci ate the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Leopard, a Zoan-type Devil Fruit which allows him to transform into a leopard and a giant leopard-human hybrid. As Zoan class Devil Fruits enhance physical capabilities the most, it is most favored by martial artists like Lucci. Also, being a carnivorous animal, Lucci is more bloodthirsty and predatory than a regular Zoan class user, proven when he mauled Luffy as an actual leopard.
5. Jack The Drought
Jack the Drought is an All-Star of the Beasts Pirates, one of Kaido's three right-hand men, known as the Disasters. Jack has eaten the Ancient Zoan-type version of the Zou Zou no Mi, which allows him to become a mammoth, granting him immense size and strength; in this form, he leveled part of a city by simply swinging his trunk.
4. Catarina Devon
Catarina Devon, known as the "Crescent Moon Hunter", was the most dangerous female pirate ever to be imprisoned in Impel Down within the entire age of pirates. She was freed by Marshall D. Teach and is currently the only known female member of his crew.
Devon ate the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Kyubi, a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows her to transform into a nine-tailed fox. With this power, she can transform into clones of people similar to the Mane Mane no Mi.
3. Marco The Phoenix
Marco the Phoenix is the former 1st division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. Marco ate a Devil Fruit referred to as a Mythical Zoan type, an immensely powerful type of Zoan Devil Fruit, said to be the rarest type, even rarer than Logia fruits. His Devil Fruit enables him to transform into a phoenix. It is because of this ability that he is identified as "Marco the Phoenix". Marco can recover from any damage he accumulates in his human form by reverting to his phoenix, or hybrid phoenix form, or just by summoning blue flames around his body. He has even been seen recovering using mere scattered flames and turning into his human form simultaneously, proving that he is quite resilient and calm when prepared for an impact.
2. Sengoku
Sengoku the Buddha was the fleet admiral of the Marines before the timeskip, succeeding Kong and preceding Sakazuki. Sengoku ate the "Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu", a rarer-than-Logia Mythical Zoan-class Devil Fruit which allows him to turn into a gigantic Daibutsu, which is probably the reason for his nickname. Nearby Marines claim that they have never seen him use this power before the war. This ability gives him a massive power boost to his already impressive strength, enough to cause the execution stand to collapse in one indirectly connecting punch.
1. Kaido
Kaido of the Beasts, also known as the "Strongest Creature in the World", is the general of the Beasts Pirates and one of the Yonko. Kaido appears to have eaten a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows him to turn into a serpentine dragon. In this form, he is capable of flight and dark clouds fill the sky wherever he goes. He can also release devastating flames from his mouth, which can easily blow apart a large area.
