The Straw Hat Grand Fleet is a fleet formed by seven pirate crews who vowed to serve under Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates. These Crews include Beautiful Pirates led by Cavendish, Barto Club led by Bartolomeo, Happo Navy led by Sai, Ideo Pirates led by Ideo, Tontatta Pirates led by Leo, New Giant Warrior Pirates led by Hajrudin and Yonta Maria Grand Fleet led by Orlumbus. In sheer numbers, they have a grand total of 5,640 people from various tribes and races.
In the past few chapters, we saw how strong Kaido and his army is. The crew is massive in number, with over 500 SMILE users, Kaido himself, three Disasters, several headliners, and an unknown number of Gifters and Pleasures. Three crews from the Worst Generation, the Drake Pirates, On Air Pirates, and Hawkins Pirates, are subordinate to the Beasts Pirates, with X Drake and Basil Hawkins serving as headliners. Along side that there are many samurai who became subordinates to the Beasts Pirates after Kaido took over Wano.
To defeat an army this strong, I don't think that the current Straw hat alliance in Wano is enough. They could have defeated them if they followed Kine'mon's plan, however that is not the case now. So, in order at least have a chance of taking on Kaido’s army, our Luffy needs to summon his own army, that is the Strawhat Grand Fleet.
This will give the main characters i.e Luffy, Zoro, Law, Kidd, etc to fight the stronger enemies like the Disasters and Kaido himself while the Straw Grand Fleet takes care of the weaker and more members of Kaido's army.
