What did Boruto just summon?

Boruto Anime has just reached its fourth episode this week and it has already got into complex jutsu. Like the summon that Boruto displayed. It seems like things will get heated up quickly and we might witness the next generation in real battle soon.  If you have been following Boruto then you already know of the greatest moment so far. Boruto summoned a mysterious looking monster to which even Konohamaru was shocked. We will try to analyse what kind of a monster. Or a thing that was as it is something never seen before.

It did not fully appear as it was covered in bright light and the only visible parts where the head. Which looked like that of a lion and the part that kind of looked like a shake protruding from it. Based on Boruto’s preferences and the summoning scroll he had on his back, we are going to find out what that thing could possibly be.

On his first try Boruto’s summoning did not work as he had no contract with any animal or beasts. But on his second try things turned out differently. It is likely that he had not yet signed the contract with it yet as it appeared and almost attacked him later on. We could assume that it was appearing in order for him to sign validate the contract .

Boruto had found the summoning scroll inside the training academy where he was hiding with Shikadai before. Its like a warehouse where the scroll are kept for training purposes. And based on Boruto’s tastes he picked a monster with snake characteristics.

It looked like it had mixed characteristic as it had a lions head and what looked like a snake. But based on its head, it is likely that it could be its tail. Based on its destructive power and that it had sharp teeth. Unlike those of a snake, truly creates more confusions on what that could really be.

Mind you there are weird looking creatures, if you still remember Pain’s Giant bird that flies upside down then you know what I’m talking about. So that thing could still possess other parts you could never anticipate. And if you still remember the  5 layer Rashomon, one of the gates had a head similar to that monster.

This probably means that it is a summoning with very high requirements. And luckily as far as Boruto is concerned Chakra is not a problem. Based on its shadows and appearance it looked like an evil thing. But hopefully we will get to witness its true form as the anime goes on. Soon he will be in a cornered situation, probably in a battle or mission, and the only option he’d have will be to summon it with its true form.
