The rumors kept intensifying for quite some time, and finally, after the episode of Skypiea, we got a confirmation on the movie, and we were told that it would be out in 2019. Strangely enough, we didn’t get any details on the movie. However, we were promised that we’d get some new info very soon. It’s been over two months since then, and we haven’t heard anything. Thankfully, Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump Issue 50 is going to see out this predicament for us.
The next issue of Jump, which is Weekly Shounen Jump Issue 50, will have new details about the One Piece anime, and we’ll get to see a glimpse of what 2019 holds for the anime. Further, we’ll also get some new details on the upcoming One Piece movie, and that’s what I’m excited for.
So far, we have heard nothing but rumors on the film, but if they’re to be believed, the movie will be based on a once famous pirate Crew called Rocks. They included the likes of Big Mom, Kaidou, and maybe even Edward Newgate himself. What’s moe, they weren’t even the Captains of this crew, and it is said that the Captain was strong enough to rule the entire New World all on his own.
Currently, it takes 4 Emperors to maintain the balance in the New World, which makes me wonder what a monster the captain of this crew would’ve been. Anyway, we’re not sure whether Rox will be the crew at the focus of One Piece’s next film, but we sure hope that it is.
Weekly Shounen Jump Issue 50 will be out on 12 November 2018. The leaks will probably be out by 9 November so that we may get early access to all the details included in the Jump.
