Hey guys! Hope you all are doing well. In this post, I’ll be talking about the new member of the legendary Roger Pirates, Douglas Bullet. The new teaser trailer of the upcoming movie of One Piece Stampede is out, and this time around we have been given some mind-boggling details about the movie.
The new teaser trailer dropped just yesterday and it has been in the head of the One Piece fans ever since. In the teaser, the plot of the movie was revealed as well.
First of all, let us discuss this teaser in detail. The movie is set after the events of the Whole Cake Island arc and before the beginning of the Reverie Conference arc. All the bounties of the Strawhat Pirates will be after the Whole Cake Island arc. Also, the designs and costumes for the movie look absolutely awesome and all the Strawhat Pirates are looking cool in them.
So, coming to the plot of the movie. Bunch of big and small name pirates are getting together for some sort of pirate festival.
This festival is organised by the pirates and for the pirates. It is going to be all about finding a treasure of the legendary Gol D Roger himself.
No, they won’t be looking for the legendary One Piece, but some other smaller treasure. The Strawhat Pirates will be participating in this festival as well.
Some other characters in the movie include Smoker, Tashigi, Trafalgar D Water Law and Buggy and his crew. The two new characters that have caught the eye are Buena Festa and Douglas Bullet. Also, it is shown that the final battle will be between Douglas Bullet and Monkey D Luffy. It is said that the magnitude of the movie is going to be so big that the Revolutionary Army members, Marines and the Warlords will get involved as well.
So, these details do make all us fans pretty damn excited for the release of this movie. The movie will come out on 09/08/2019.
Now, let us just talk about the main villain of the movie Douglas Bullet. Douglas Bullet as we know, has been a member of the crew of Gol D Roger in the past which indicates that he is a pretty powerful character already.
Talking about his appearance, he is a big guy with pretty broad shoulders. His hair in front is sticked backwards and he has got some headphones on much like Germa 66 members who have similar headphones on in their Raid Suit appearance.
His clothes are just decorated with a hell lot of medals and his clothes reminded me of Shiliew of the Rain and even King who wear similar clothes. This could be a hint that he also has been a part of Impel Down jail as the jailers of Impel Down have similar dressing style.
From the teaser trailer, we also got to know that Douglas Bullet is a conqueror’s haki user as well like his opponent Monkey D Luffy. I hope that we might get to see a new use of conqueror’s haki in this movie.
Even though the movie is clearly non-canon but the character can well be canon like we saw with Shiki and Zephyr.
Douglas Bullet is going to be a pretty strong character and easily will be a little less stronger than a yonko commander level but who knows if he was a pretty important member of Roger’s crew then he might even be equal to a yonko commander level character.
Since Luffy is not stronger than yonko level characters thus far, it is clear that Douglas won’t be stronger than the two said levels. Also, since he is a former mate of Roger it wouldn’t be out of place to mention that he might even have the future sight haki.
It could be awesome if he was indeed a future sight haki user and also an advanced armament haki user on top of already being a conqueror’s haki user as well.
I also think he will be having a very powerful devil fruit which will indeed result in us witnessing one of the best battles in the One Piece movies thus far. The animations are going to be top-notch and thus I’m sure it will be a movie that will be the talking point for some years to come.
