We have seen more than the usual traffic on popular Pokemon Go botting and cheating forums. Many of the trainers who cheat in the game are claiming that their bot accounts haven’t been banned. We have also seen a lot of reports coming in on our inbox claiming that many of the trainers are unable to log in.
From what it looks like Niantic has finally done the deed and began “The Third Big Ban Wave”. We have previously seen such activity from Niantic, where they banned all the user accounts that go against the Terms of Service.
This is the third time we’ve observed such an activity by Niantic
1st Ban Wave occurred from January 20 to 24
2nd Ban Wave occurred from March 2 to 4
3rd Ban wave is currently in effect, starting April 11
There is clear evidence that this specific ban wave is specifically targeting to both accounts, which is actually a good news for both rural and urban trainers who are frustrated with them. For those newbies out there, who are not familiar with bot actually are, I’m brief you.
Now that, we got things out of the way, now the question that everyone is having is in what way will this ban wave help the fair trainers. Well, to be honest, there is nothing much that banning such bot accounts will achieve other than a way to clean up all those gyms with overpowered Dragonite and Blisseys and Gyarados.
This is it guys, this is the best time for you to go hit all the gyms in the neighborhood and achieve higher gym placement, and farm for free Pokecoins. I hate to break it to you guys, but the techies say that this might as well be a temporary change.
Let me explain when the 0.61 update rolled out a couple of days ago. It was a forced upgrade, ie all everyone is supposed to update the Pokemon Go app. There is newer API in the forced update which means it is no longer safe to bot, it will take a while for cheaters out there to find a new workaround in the new API, and things will be back to as they were in probably a week or so.
That’s why I highly advice, start farming those gym coins in a free way, and enjoy fair battling as long as it lasts. So that’s all, for now, guys,
