Hey there fans of OtakuKart and welcome to another animeblog article! My name is Salim and today I will be discussing why Mitsuki can sense the evil chakra that has been disrupting the civilians of Konoha.
To begin with, ever since the introduction of Mitsuki in Boruto Naruto Next Generations, Mitsuki has been connected to the mysterious chakra in the anime. Now, by this I mean every time we encounter someone with the chakra, we always get Boruto’s ocular power of course, however if Mitsuki is nearby or in a conversation about the chakra and Boruto’s eye, there is always a scene that shows his expression.
Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Mitsuki is behind the chakra attacks and possessions, however we do see Mitsuki keeping in contact with a snake as to the events of what’s happening at his days at the academy, but more specifically what’s happening with Boruto and the chakra. Another question being that why is it that Boruto is the only one that can see it, and Mitsuki specifically having a connection to it by the curiosity of Boruto’s eye dojutsu.
As far as we know, if you have read the Mitsuki One-Shot manga by Masashi Kishimoto, then you will know that Mitsuki has Snake Sage Mode. Now this manga chapter was later released after Naruto concluded its serialized manga series as a way to give a beginning to Mitsuki’s origins and character and what his goal is specifically. Not to mention, his connection to Orochimaru and how he is his son.
More importantly as well, is that he has sage mode, which can sense chakra all around. That is how Mitsuki is able to sense the evil chakra in the Boruto anime. However, even though Mitsuki can sense it, he cannot see it as Boruto can. Mitsuki’s curiosity behind this is also why he is so focused on finding out why Boruto can see it. It is not out of evil intent and his reason why the evil chakra exists, it is however why Boruto can see it and his ability to use Sage mode why Mitsuki is featured every time the chakra appears.
