Naruto Uzumaki has been a favorite character throughout the 15 years that he has been around for us anime fans. Whether you liked the show or not, you an forget that hyperactive knucklehead ninja. From trending online running to merchandise to video games, Naruto has hands down been a very popular character. However there is something we don’t know about him, and neither does his creator. Today I am going to be discussing exactly what that is that we don’t know about Naruto, not even Kishimoto!
So to begin with I will use Ninja Info Cards as an example. From Part 1 of Naruto, Kabuto had ninja info cards before the Chunin exams and explained the they contain stats that measures a shin obi based upon certain skills such as:
intelligence
Speed
Chakra
Ninjutsu
Taijutsu
Genjutsu, as well as other statistics.
However recently there was a published scan in Shonen Jump Magazine that revealed the statistics for team 7 as adults and of course there happened to be something missing under our favorite knucklehead nInja that is now the Hokage.
Naruto’s chakra amount/reserve is still unknown to this day. Even Masashi Kishimoto himself has said in interviews many times before that he doesn’t know how powerful Naruto is or what he is like at full power. HE has explained multiple times that Naruto is not a character that goes for the kill. Naruto is someone that tries to reason and for that, he has never drawn Naruto at his full potential.
Even against his final fight with Sasuke, Kishimoto revealed that Naruto was not fighting at full power, mainly because he woudlnt know what that would look like after fighting an entire war for days straight!
So alongside that, Naruto contains the chakra of all the tailed beast, as well as his own chakra. With no accurate numbers or statistics available, it is uncertain to tell exactly how much chakra Naruto actually possesses.
It is this fact alone that we cannot truly know about Naruto. Not even the creator himself has the answer to give us, the fans. But, I feel like if the did try to put a number on it, it would limit his character to others and people would start to compare.
I think its almost a good thing that his chakra amount isn’t revealed, otherwise people would start debating who is better, etc. I believe Kishimoto feels the same seeing as how he doesn’t want to put a limit on Naruto, as he is someone that continues to stride to be the best that he can be!
